The Kanto region is a geographical area of Honshu, the largest island in Japan. The boundaries of this region roughly coincide with the Kanto Plain. The region is made up of the Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa and Tokyo Metropolis prefectures.
