Centered around a full day at Green EXPO 2027 Yokohama, this itinerary also takes you to some of the finest examples of Japan’s gardens, bonsai, and Zen culture. Visit the renowned Shunkaen BONSAI Museum, stroll through the beautiful Rikugien Garden and Sankeien Garden, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of historic temples in Yokohama and Kamakura.

Day 1 : Tokyo → Yokohama → Minami-Machida
Day 2 : Green EXPO 2027
Day 3 : Minami-Machida → Kamakura → Tokyo

Meet your guide at your hotel in Tokyo.
Visit Shunkaen BONSAI Museum, home to world-class bonsai masterpieces.
Optional: Enjoy a hands-on Bonsai Workshop with a professional instructor.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Stroll through the beautiful Rikugien Garden, one of Tokyo’s finest traditional Japanese gardens.
Travel to Yokohama and visit Sōjiji Temple, the head temple of the Soto Zen School.
Continue to your hotel near the Green EXPO 2027 venue and enjoy a relaxing evening before tomorrow’s Expo visit.

International Horticultural Expo 2027 Yokohama
After breakfast, depart for the Green EXPO 2027 venue.
Spend the day exploring the International Horticultural Expo 2027, where countries from around the world showcase innovative ideas for nature, sustainability, flowers, gardens, and future lifestyles.
Enjoy exhibitions, themed gardens, cultural performances, food, and special events throughout the day.
After the Expo, return to your hotel.
Accommodation: Toyoko Inn Minami-Machida or a similar hotel.

Historic Temples and Traditional Gardens
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Hōkokuji Temple, famous for its peaceful bamboo grove.
Continue to Jōmyōji Temple, one of Kamakura’s historic Zen temples.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Explore Hasedera Temple, renowned for its beautiful gardens and panoramic coastal views.
Visit Sankeien Garden, a traditional Japanese landscape garden in Yokohama.
Return to Tokyo.

You can also extend your vacation before/after the tour in Tokyo, Osaka, or other areas. We can provide an extension of your stay in the same hotel as during the tour for 15,000 yen ~ per night, per person. Please contact us for inquiries!

Meet and Greet: Please note that the meet and greet and airport transfer to the first hotel are only available on the first day of the tour after 10 AM. If you plan to stay extra nights before the start of the tour, please arrange your own hotel transfer.

- 46 days prior to arrival date in Japan: no penalty
- 45-31 days prior to arrival date in Japan: 10% of the tour fee
- 30-15 days prior to arrival date in Japan: 20% of the tour fee
- 14- 8 days prior to arrival date in Japan: 30% of the tour fee
- 7 – 3 days prior to arrival date in Japan: 50% of the tour fee
- 3 days prior to arrival date in Japan: 100% of the tour fee
