Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda Airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant who will guide you to your transfer bus to the hotel.

This morning, you have the flexibility to either spend more time in Tokyo or take an early bullet train to Kyoto to maximize your time in Japan’s ancient capital.
Upon arrival in Kyoto, drop off your luggage and enjoy the rest of the afternoon exploring at your own pace. Kyoto is home to countless historical and cultural treasures, making it hard to choose where to go. Since Day 5 will focus on Eastern Kyoto, today is the perfect time to explore the Western side of the city.
