We are big fans of e-bikes and enjoy touring with our e-bikes all over Japan. We have experience cycling on the Shimanami Kaido, on Oki Island, and in the Matsumoto mountain area.

This time, we offer a special tour that takes you from the Mt fuji heritage center ( 880m) to the 5th station of Mt Fuji (2,300m) by e-bike. As you may know, e-bikes work by using an electronic motor and battery to assist you especially when climbing hills. This little extra boost can lead to incredible possibilities. When you ride an e-bike, there is no ride that is too long, no load too heavy, and no place your legs can’t carry you.

This route to the 5th station is called the SUBARU line (road to star), riding uphill is usually hell, but because we use e-bikes it is super easy to climb up to the 5th station of Mt Fuji. The elevation difference is 1,500m and 28km.

Mt Fuji E-Bike Tour Itinerary

8:00 am – Meeting at our office or your hotel/home

 Drive to Mt Fuji area via Chuo-express Highway. We can make a stop at a convenience store if you want to buy food or drinks.

11 am – Mt Fuji heritage center: Prepare for cycling to the 5th station. Enjoy cycling to the 5th station by e-bike.

3 pm – ETA at the 5th station. There are shops and small restaurants, enjoy shopping and have a break!

4 pm – Return to Tokyo by car. We can’t go downhill by bike because of safety reasons. Tour disbands at our office in Tokyo.
